The illustrated Buck Knife is the Buck Redpoint Knife, designed by mountaineer Peter Whittaker, that features a 2 3/4" part serrated drop point blade made of 420HC stainless steel. The blade of this Buck knife has notched thumb rest for secure grip, a blade slot and SafeSpin for easy one hand opening and closing. The black thermoplastic handle with blue rubber overmold, 4 3/8" closed, comes with the Buck/Whittaker logo, an all weather grip, a slide lock and an oversized Utility Arch with integral bottle opener. A metal pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end of this Buck knife. The Buck Redpoint Knife with blue handle has an overall open length of 7 1/8", and weighs 2.9 ounces.
